JUST IN: TWO ARRESTED FOR GERMISTON HOME AFFAIRS FIRE!

The blaze that engulfed Germiston's Home Affairs is under control, and two suspects were arrested.

Major General Fred Kekana has confirmed to the media that two people have been arrested, facing charges of public violence and arson.
This is following the burning of a Germiston Home Affairs building on Tuesday morning.
The fire has since been controlled and everything to be back to normal.
Kekana added that the situation is now under control after tensions flared in Germiston, where residents facing eviction set the building ablaze.

Ekurhuleni EMS spokesperson William Tladi says there is no sign of casualties so far and preliminary information suggest the building was torched.
Police investigations are ongoing, and the arrested duo could shed light.
