UBER DRIVER KILLED TWO DAYS INTO BUSINESS!

Zanele Khuzwayo, aunt of deceased e-hailing driver, Siyanda Mthokozisi Mvelase, has told the media that the 27-year-old had relocated to Joburg from KZN before being killed at Maponya Mall in Pimville.

According to Khuzwayo, Mvelazse, had just bought a car two weeks ago and only started using it as an Uber on Monday – two days before he was killed.

The furious Soweto residents are calling for the taxi industry to be barred from operating inside Maponya Mall, saying they do not feel safe while taxis continue to use the premises.

Tensions between e-hailing services and taxi associations have been long-standing, with recent clashes heightening safety concerns.

Even previous Minister Bheki Cele tried in vain to have them make peace, but it never stops.
