BREAKING – DRUGS WORTH 20M SEIZED IN BLUE HILLS!
Cocaine worth R20 million has been seized from a plot in Blue Hills, Midrand.
SA Police Service (SAPS) intelligence was following up on information of drugs being hidden on the identified plot, and a 56-year-old man believed to be the owner of the plot has been arrested for possession/dealing in drugs.
According to SAPS, the bust followed an intelligence-driven operation after officers received information about drugs being stored on the property.
When police swooped in, they discovered several sealed packages of cocaine concealed on the premises.
The arrested owner is expected to appear before the Midrand Magistrate’s Court later this week on charges of possession and dealing in drugs.

SAPS spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe said the operation was the result of coordinated efforts between Crime Intelligence and the Johannesburg K9 Unit.
“This seizure demonstrates our commitment to dismantling criminal networks and removing dangerous substances from our communities,” she said.
Police investigations are ongoing to determine the source of the drugs and whether the suspect is linked to a larger trafficking syndicate.
