Welcome to The Ga-Rankuwa Mail.
It gives us great pleasure to launch such a prominent brand in the heart of a township ravaged by a multitude of ills, but there are positive stories to be told about this kasi and the surrounding areas.
Most positive news are hidden somewhere in our homes – hence it’s not shared.
This platform is designed to change the narrative and accommodate everyone, from politicians to our entertainment and sports heroes and heroines.
We will not only be restricted to Ga-Rankuwa news, but we will be publishing at a national level, and priority will be given to local content around north Pretoria, many know it as Tshwane Region One.
For all that to be a reality, you, too, are invited to share news with us on news@akasiaexpress.co.za or letters@akasiaexpress.co.za.
This will be a community-driven project that will need all hands-on decks, contact us on Editor@akasiaexpress.co.za
It is an extension of the social media space, The Ga-Rankuwa Mail, and all teasers on the Facebook post will be elaborated more on this platform.
We will push hard to give you answers to a lot of questions that are troubling Ga-Rankuwa.
We will profile a lot of stars, yesteryear politicians and remember those who have worked extremely hard to turn this beautiful township to be what it is today.
The Ga-Rankuwa Mail to be used as a tool to enhance careers by giving aspiring journalists, Journalism graduates or students, Marketing students or those with a neck for the work, Advertising enthusiasts, Communications students, Photographers, Graphic designers, Video Editors, Podcasters, etc.
