LETTER: WE WERE HIJACKED AROUND 20H30 AT TEMBA, HAMMANSKRAAL

I was from meeting with my Personal Assistant, Tebogo Sweatz and we parked by his gate and we were finalizing some letters to email urgently before I leave.

A guy came, praised the car we are driving. I said to Tebogo that this is very strange and very unsafe for that man to ask me to pull down window for his praises.

It was hardly 5 minutes that two guys, came and one pointed gun at me and demanded that I move out of the car. The two boys are skinny and short, I felt a need to fight, I recalled that I have two trackers and insurance to fight for a car.

I said to them, in a car I have two phones, wallet with 4 bank cards and car keys are in the car also, take the car and leave because I don’t think you need me.

All the time they are all over me, Tebogo was still on passenger seat. Later on one guy went to Tebogo, then he pulled him out and told him to get at the back. He began to ran off and throw phones at his homes.

I was there standing watching the guy struggling to start the car and he later took off at high speed and neighbours began to suspect and Tebogo had his neighbour, one great man Mr Matsemela drove out to chase the car, but it was too late. I went in his car to chase the car.

The same man gave me his phone to contact tracker and we returned to the where hijacked happened. We found that Tebogo had logged into tracker app and also located my phone’s.

We could see that the car was around Bosplass, Danhouse and Mathibestad forest. We then had one neighbour Mr Mphahlele who is a police officer, he phoned all police stations to block the road at Makapanstad, Loate, Hammanskraal and Soshanguve SAPS .

We then started to phone guys who ran the streets, one of them whom the car was around his location said the car belong to Adv Moafrika? He phoned us in 5 minutes and told us to pick up the car.

The car tracker guys have already arrived and told us that the car is recovered at Mathibestad, behind One Lodge, just dumped there.

They have cleaned the car my precious belongings, phones, wallet and other stuff. The police and tracker guys could not find the thugs.

I appreciate SAPS Temba, for following the car closely and Car Tracker for responding faster and my guys in Danhouse, Mathibestad and Makapan for acting promptly.

The car was recovered in almost 1 hour. We are now all home safe.

NOTE: I have no phones, bank cards, bank apps, drivers licence, ID card etc
