NOTORIOUS ‘SOX’ ARRESTED IN SOSHANGUVE CRIME CRACKDOWN!
Infamous Soshanguve criminal, only known as Koketso and street name “Sox”, was made to sing “Kasongo” after being apprehended by Moshate Security during Easter.
Kasongo is a famous South African song, and Moshate has made it a habit to make criminals dance to it after being arrested and recorded on social media.
Akasia Express understands that Sox’s arrest has brought an abrupt end to a wave of crime that had gripped residents of Block L in Soshanguve.
The suspect had allegedly built a reputation for targeting both homes and churches, carrying out housebreakings and theft while instilling fear across the community.
His activities extended to armed muggings, where he is believed to have used a firearm to rob unsuspecting victims.
During the arrest, Moshate recovered a firearm suspected to have been used in the commission of these crimes, and Sox was made to reveal more and rhose he works with.
The discovery is expected to strengthen the case against him as investigations continue into the full extent of his alleged criminal operations.
The arrest follows heightened efforts to clamp down on crime in the area, with structured community safety initiatives playing a visible role in deterring criminal activity.
Among these is Moshate Security which has established a presence in parts of Soshanguve through identifiable signage and coordinated patrols.
The message emerging from these interventions is clear: homes associated with organised community protection structures are increasingly becoming difficult targets for criminal elements.
The suspect is expected to face multiple charges, including housebreaking, theft, armed robbery, and illegal possession of a firearm.
