DR CONGO’S WARRIORS’ ‘MANNEQUIM’ FAN IS A REAL MAN, HONOURING PATRICE!

A moment with a true icon of the stands.

Well, seen, or posing as a real mannequin at all DR Congo matches with one hand raised like the statue of former President Patrice Lumumba, has drawn the attention of CAF President Patrice Motsepe.

Michel Kuka Mboladinga, who poses as a real statue, caught up with Lumumba’s name sake from South Africa who embraced him following the Warriors’ hapless 1-0 loss to Algeria in their 2025 Afcon Last-16 clash on Tuesday night.

Mboladinga stays motionless for 90 minutes, but because the Congo and Algeria game went to extra-time, which means another 30 minutes, he was seen moving and dropped his hand momentarily.

Mimicking Lumumba is Mboladinga’s way of honouring and paying tribute to the DRC’s independence hero, which went viral online as fans thought it was a dummy.
