ZUMA’S HOSPITALISATION RAISES CONCERNS OVER HIS HEALTH

Former South African president and uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party leader Jacob Zuma was admitted to a Pietermaritzburg hospital following a medical check-up on 6 October 2026.

While the MK Party has described the visit as routine and reassured supporters that Zuma is in good spirits, questions remain about the circumstances surrounding his hospitalisation and his participation in upcoming campaign activities.

Despite the party’s reassurances, uncertainty surrounding his condition has fuelled speculation about whether his health situation could be more serious than initially understood. However, no official medical report has confirmed that Zuma’s condition has deteriorated.
