DRUNKARDS ARRESTED FOR DRUNK-DRIVING IN WEEKEND OPERATION

Twenty-two (22) motorists are expected to appear before Pretoria North magistrate court for drunk and driving charges.

The individuals were arrested during an integrated operation, which included Pretoria North Visible Policing team, National Traffic Police, and local Community Policing Forum members.

The operation was conducted over the weekend between Friday and Saturday evening.

The station commander, Colonel Nonzwakwazi Julla, has welcomed the arrests and sent a stern warning to the motorist that the law enforcement agencies will leave no stone unturned to ensure drunk drivers are removed from the roads to ensure safety of other road users and to safe lives.
