PRETORIA NORTH CPF YOUTH DESK RECRUITS YOUNG VOLUNTEERS!
The Pretoria North Community Policing Forum (CPF) Youth Desk is calling on young people to step forward and play an active role in building safer communities, as it prepares for the re-launch of its Youth Desk initiative at the weekend.
Set to take place at the Pretoria North Police Station, the re-launch event aims to recruit energetic and committed youth volunteers who are passionate about community development and crime prevention.
Organisers say the Youth Desk will serve as a platform for young people to actively participate in community-driven projects, while also gaining leadership experience and making a meaningful impact in their neighbourhoods.
“We are looking for volunteers to get involved in community projects. We are looking for capable volunteer leaders to form part of the executive team,” said organisers.
The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts by the CPF to strengthen collaboration between law enforcement and the community, particularly by empowering young people to become agents of change. Through programmes focused on awareness, safety, and social upliftment, the Youth Desk is expected to play a critical role in addressing challenges faced by local communities.
Those interested in becoming members of the CPF and Youth Desk will have an opportunity to register during the official re-launch meeting.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, 28 March 2026 at 10:00am at the Pretoria North Police Station. Young people from across Pretoria North are encouraged to attend, sign up, and contribute towards building a safer and more united community.
