SILLY ‘WHITE BOYS’ CAUGHT STEALING CABLES AND HOUSEBREAKING!

Two suspects in Rustenburg have been linked to a series of vandalism incidents targeting the Bojanala Municipality’s electrical infrastructure, especially in Protea Park, Safari Tuine, and in the CBD.

The City says these ongoing attacks have cost millions of rands in repairs over the past few months.

The damage has also caused regular power cuts, water shortages, and disruptions to transport and communication services making daily life harder for many residents.

City officials have urged the public to help protect infrastructure and report suspicious activity to ensure reliable and uninterrupted services for everyone.

A criminal case has been opened at the Rustenburg Police Station, and investigations are continuing.

Meanwhile, in Germiston, a local security company has dealt with occupants of a white Suzuki Swift that is alleged to have been involved in a number of security gate motors theft in the New Redruth, Randhart, Brackenhurst, Dinwiddie and Castle View area.

Their tactical team, together with Germiston SAPS Trio unit, followed up on the information.

“A total of 7 suspects were arrested for various charges such as possession of narcotics, possession of stolen goods, house breaking implements, malicious damage to property etc,” the security company said in a statement.
