FANNIE NKOSI ARRESTED AFTER SHOCKING DISCOVERY!

A Gauteng Organised Crime Unit sergeant has been arrested following a dramatic police raid at his Pretoria North home that uncovered a cache of official case dockets, unlicensed ammunition, a state-owned hand grenade, and improperly stored firearms.

It has been reported that Sergeant Fannie Nkosi, who is already on suspension and has been testifying at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, was detained by the Special Investigations Task Team on Thursday after the search.

Among items seized were dockets from various police stations, 490 rounds of unlicensed ammunition, and a police hand grenade.

Several firearms including pistols, a rifle, and a shotgun were also found, some not stored in a safe, according to a City Press report

The discovery has raised fresh questions about internal controls within the South African Police Service (SAPS) and possible breaches of trust by officers linked to high-level corruption probes.

Nkosi is expected to appear in court on firearms- and explosives-related charges.

Anti-corruption activists have criticised SAPS for initially refusing to confirm the identity of the officer involved, calling it an attempt to shield the force from scrutiny.

The raid is the second known search of Nkosi’s property in recent months.

The case comes amid ongoing investigations into alleged links between senior police members and organised crime figures, including the so-called “Big Five” cartel.

Nkosi has previously denied allegations of misconduct during his testimony at the Madlanga Commission.
