POLICE ARREST TRIO FOR ATTEMPTED BUSINESS BREAK-IN IN PRETORIA NORTH
Three suspects are expected to appear before the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court later this week on charges of attempted business break-in.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a joint operation between local security company Proshield and police led to the arrest of three men aged between 27 and 37.
Authorities responded swiftly after receiving a report of a break-in at a business premises on Koos de la Rey Street.
Upon arrival, the suspects were found inside the premises in possession of suspected housebreaking implements, including a shovel, pickaxe and screwdrivers.
Preliminary investigations suggest the suspects may have gained entry through the roof before being caught in the act.
The trio was immediately arrested and is currently being detained at SAPS Pretoria North as investigations continue.
