JULIUS MALEMA FOUND GUILTY!
The Equality Court in Cape Town today found that the leader of the EFF, Julius Malema, is guilty of hate speech.
The ruling follows his 2022 speech about a 2020 incident at Brackenfell High School, where, according to the court, he made calls for the murder of white men.
Included in the ruling is Malema’s statement thay: “You must never be afraid to kill, a revolution requires killing at some point, because killing is part of the revolutionary act”.
Judge Mark Sher says Malema’s words were a “clear attempt to promote hatred” and that the EFF endorsed his statements, making them co-responsible.
The court says statements of this nature can incite racial violence and are unacceptable in society
