MALATJI ALLEGES INTERFERENCE IN TSHWANE DURING HIS TESTIMONY!
The Madlanga Commission heard fresh claims of alleged interference as witness Tshukudu Malatji revealed that key information was withheld from him while preparing his statement.
The suspended Director responsible for Asset Protection Services at the City of Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD), is currently on the witness stand at the Madlanga Commission.
He told the commission that during the process of compiling his testimony, he became aware that Revo Spies had allegedly instructed officials within his office not to provide him with crucial information.
According to Malatji, the lack of access to necessary documents and details significantly affected his ability to present a fully informed account before the commission.
He indicated that the alleged directive raised serious concerns about transparency and the integrity of the process.
The commission, chaired by Justice Mandisa Madlanga, is probing matters of governance and accountability, with testimonies expected to shed light on internal processes and possible irregularities.
Malatjiās claims have added another layer of complexity to the proceedings, with questions now emerging about whether there was deliberate obstruction of information and who may have benefited from such actions.
The commission is expected to further interrogate the allegations, including calling for responses from those implicated, as it continues its work to uncover the truth.
