ZCC DISTANCES ITSELF FROM FALSE SOCIAL MEDIA ‘PROPHET’!

The Zion Christian Church (ZCC) has distanced itself from posts on various social media platforms by a woman claiming to have been sent by the leader of the church, Right Reverend Bishop Dr BE Lekganyane.

ZCC spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe says the woman is misrepresenting the church and was not sent by the church.

Ngoepe has called on the public and church members to rely only on verified methods of communication, which is documented printed mesages sent via different regional chirches.

The church does not have any official social media pages, and in fact, it discourages its members from posting about the church.

Ngoaepe is quoted saying the church does not use digital platforms to communicate.

“The ZCC wishes to distance itself from recent utterances made by an individual falsely presenting herself as a prophet and delivering messages purported to be prophetic and sent by the spiritual leader of the Church, his grace, the Right Reverend Bishop Dr BE Lekganyane, via various social media platforms,” he says.

He says they wish to make it unequivocally clear that an individual, calling herself Nokotula Skhosana, wearing a ZCC badge, messages, and online presence do not reflect the values, beliefs, or official communications of our church
