PLOT SHOOTING ARREST!

A man is expected to appear before the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court later this week on charges of attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm.

The arrest follows a shooting incident on Sunday night, 26 April, at a plot in Onderstepoort near Soutpan Road, where one person was wounded.

Police responded after receiving reports of the shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound.

Emergency medical services were called, and the victim was transported to hospital for treatment.

The suspect was arrested at the scene.

Police also seized a firearm believed to have been used in the incident.

The weapon will undergo forensic testing to determine whether it may be linked to other violent crimes in the area.
