FRUSTRATED SIWELELE AXE CEO AND COACH!
Stan Matthews and Andre Arendse have been fired by Siwelele FC.
The football administrators have been shown the exit door after being adopted by Siwelele from the now defunct SuperSport United.
Siwelele FC bought the status of SuperSport after the MultiChoice-owned club expressed its uninterest in running the soccer club, which was heavier in their budgets that they woukd have liked.
However, everything has been going wrong than right at Siwelele who have turned into the whipping boys in the PSL, and the power battle has dominated the club’s boardroom.
Matthews and Arendse have been in football administration for decades, and now indications are that they’re the problem of the club that has been dropping points like a filling station petrol pumps leaking fuel.
The club says they have identified about six players whom they would like to lure in to help save the status of the club and would be making announcements in due course.
Players that are surplus to requirements will be released due to lack of commitment.
Siwelele have been purported to be saviours of the Bloemfontein Celtic culture, but it has been hitting misses more than rights, acts that have irked the passionate Siwelele loyal fans.
in consideration, Free State football fans have an option of Marumo Gallants to rally behind, and Siwelele, who bear the same colours at Celtic, will have to do twice as much to convince fans that they’re the real deal.
Calvin Le John, Siwelele chairman, through a social media statement, made remarks that they plan on getting this right for the club, in good a d bad days.
Lerato Kgolwanyane was appointed Acting CEO while legend Willem Jackson was named Assistant Coach.
