ROAD OPEN TO TRAFFIC AFTER TYRE FACTORY INFERNO!

The Willen Cruywagen Drive in Pretoria North is open to the public following an inferno that engulfed at a tyre factor on 16 August 2025.

The fire left a scene of massive destruction and took over five days to be completely extinguished through the collaboration of experts from the City of Tshwane and locals.

According to EMS spokesperson Lindsay Mnguni, the flames were fully extinguished after extensive damping-down operations that stretched late into the fifth day
